"..being a mentor has been an awesome experience.."

Being a mentor with Partnership Scholars Program is about building a relationship with bright students while enabling them to achieve their dreams of going to college.

Jesus explains “My mentors have impacted my life by inspiring me to pursue my dreams, by taking me to diverse places, and by helping me succeed in my education. Thanks to this program, I can take the lessons I learned to the University of Southern California where I will pursue my major in architecture.”

Being a mentor is about giving the scholars activities that expand their world.

For the past two years I've had the privilege of being a mentor to six wonderful children at Lennox Middle School. It's been a pleasure to witness
the enrichment in their lives through the Partnership Scholars Program. They now have an appreciation to the live theatre, travel, and dining at a variety of restaurants.

We've had many hours of conversation regarding
their goals, which include a college education, to enhance their lives. They are much more confident and recognize the many possibilities that are available to them. The wonderful Partnership Scholars Program that has made this difference. It would be so nice to give this same opportunity to many other young adults.
